On Thursday 15th of August on the feast of the Assumption the annual devotions will take place at the Holy Rosary Shrine, Lee Road. Join in reciting the rosary at 6.30pm at the gates of Our Lady’s Hospital. From there you can follow the fifteen mysteries until Mass begins at 7.30 at the shrine. Bishop Fintan Gavin will be the chief celebrant at the Mass and will preach the homily. This shrine was consecrated on the Feast of the Assumption in 1952 by the then Coadjutor Bishop of Cork, Most Rev, Dr Cornelius Lucey. Ever since then many Cork people have come together &  joined in prayer at the grotto on the feast day. We look forward to praying together at the shrine. Let’s hope for a nice fine evening!
