In accordance with government guidelines on public gatherings, funerals are taking place privately. We in Ireland have a long tradition of praying for the deceased and supporting the bereaved. During these days we are using technology to support the bereaved by sending texts, phone calls and leaving online messages on books of condolence.
The diocese have kindly made this leaflet available for us to help us to pray for our deceased and their families. PRAYING FOR OUR DECEASED LOVED ONES when we cannot attend the funeral
We hope that you will find it a useful resource and that you may consider printing it off for someone who you feel would like a copy but doesn’t have access to the internet.
May God Bless us all.
